Valentine’s Day weekend at Whistle Barns was nothing short of magical. I had the pleasure of photographing the venue on Valentine’s Day itself. Beautifully styled, filled with love, and blessed with the only day of sunshine that entire week. No rain, no grey skies, just golden winter light and a venue looking its absolute best.
The décor was styled to perfection by Rent For Your Event, and the day was made even sweeter with a lemon cake tasting by Joanna Evans Cake Design genuinely delicious and a dream to photograph.
What made this shoot especially meaningful for me is that I’m also getting married at Whistle Barns myself in July 2027, and I live just down the road. Spending time photographing the venue reaffirmed just how special it is. Not only visually, but in atmosphere, flow, and how it feels as a couple and a guest.
