What to Expect During Your Engagement Session

First of all, congratulations on your engagement! 🥂

I'm so excited to be part of this special chapter in your love story.

Here’s a little rundown of what to expect from your engagement session so you can arrive feeling relaxed, confident, and ready to have fun!

The Session

Your session will last up to one hour, giving us plenty of time to capture natural, heartfelt moments without rushing. We’ll chat, wander, laugh, and snap lots of beautiful images along the way.

Every couple is different - some are camera-shy, some are all giggles and that’s perfectly okay. I use gentle prompts and relaxed posing to help you both feel comfortable, so nothing feels forced or awkward. Think of it more like a fun date with a third wheel (me!) who just happens to be holding a camera.

What to Wear

For the best results, I recommend neutral tones or smart-casual outfits, depending on our location. These tones photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your connection.

Avoid bold logos or busy patterns, as they can distract from your gorgeous faces.

Coordinate without matching—think soft, complementary colours and comfortable layers.

Bring an extra jacket, shoes, or accessory if the weather’s changeable or you want to mix things up. Men, put on a shirt that compliments your partners gorgeous outfit <3

They’re part of your story too, and I absolutely love capturing the whole family fur, giggles, and all.

Just let me know in advance if you're bringing a dog or little ones, so I can plan a few extra touches to make the session run smoothly for everyone.

The whole session is designed to feel chilled, natural, and fun. No stiff posing, no pressure. Just you two, being yourselves, in a beautiful location, making memories.

I'll give you just enough direction to feel confident, but leave plenty of space for those spontaneous smiles, inside jokes, and real moments that make your love story unique.
