Some love stories are written in the most unexpected ways and Natasha & Stephen’s is one of them. Two incredibly kind souls, perfectly matched, and proof that love truly knows no bounds.

Stephen, the gentle giant standing at 6ft 5, and Natasha, a petite 5ft 3, are living proof that love doesn’t care about height differences. Their story began at the end of their 5 year medical degree at the University of Nottingham. Stephen needed a lift for placement, and Natasha happened to have a spare seat. One car ride later, and six years on… here they are, engaged and planning forever together.

A Proposal Straight Out of a Fairy tale

Earlier this year, Stephen popped the question during a private waterfall tour in Thailand. Just the two of them, surrounded by nature, the perfect proposal setting for a couple who love the outdoors and beautiful scenery.

For their engagement shoot, we chose the stunning Highfields Park in Nottingham. With its sweeping lake, romantic stone bridges, and hidden pathways, it’s one of the best engagement photography locations in Nottingham. The natural backdrops gave us the perfect blend of greenery and water reflections, making every photo feel magical and relaxed.

Couples who love the outdoors always shine in natural spaces like this, and Natasha & Stephen were no exception. Between studying, exams, and Stephen’s second love (gardening), they always make time for each other and that joy and connection radiated through every photograph.

What’s Next for Natasha & Stephen

These two will be tying the knot in Cambridge next year, close to Stephen’s family. After capturing their engagement photos at Highfields Park, I already know their wedding day is going to be something truly special.
