What was meant to be an engagement shoot at Locko Park quickly turned into a last-minute switch to the stunning Elvaston Castle in Derbyshire and honestly, it couldn’t have worked out better!

James and Emma admitted they were a little nervous to start with (which is so normal!), but once we got moving with some fun prompts, they relaxed beautifully. Movement is always my favourite way to help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, and soon enough, they were complete naturals, just enjoying each other and the moment.

Of course, their gorgeous 6-month-old Isabella joined us too! It felt only right to sneak in a few sweet family photographs alongside the engagement portraits. Capturing this new chapter of life, love, laughter, and parenthood which made the session even more special. These candid family moments are the kind you’ll look back on for years to come.
